Experience
Val has been a family dispute resolution practitioner since 1992. She was employed as a family mediator with Unifam for 8 years and has been a Legal Aid FDR conference chairperson since 2000. She has over 26 years of continuous family dispute resolution practice experience. Val is a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) and an accredited mediator under the National Mediation Accreditation Standards. Val is a qualified and highly experienced trainer, coach and assessor of mediation skills and dispute resolution processes. She is past president of the Australian Dispute Resolution Association (ADRA) and past Chair of Resolution Institute NSW Chapter. She was a Director of the Mediator Standards Board (MSB) until November, 2016.
