Experience
I am a Social Worker and a Family Law Solicitor currently in practice. Furthermore, I have had the experience of working as a Reg 7 Family Consultant and currently I am an Authorised Children's Court Clinician responsible for assessment of families and children as an expert witness. I am fluent in the Turkish language . As a social worker I worked for Family and Community Services for a period of 10 years as a senior child protection worker and foster carer trainer. I have been a FDRP since 2009 and am passionate about assisting families to resolve their dispute without having to resort to litigation, particularly families of CALD backgrounds who struggle to understand the legal system in Australia. I held the position of clinical supervisor in the Family Law/Domestic Violence Clinic at Kingsford Legal Centre for a period of 4 years where I taught, mentored and supervised students who studied Family Law as a subject. Presently completing Masters in Family Law at College of Law.
